Tiny Ted hits the Beach in New Zealand
As you may or may not be aware Class 3H have sent a Tiny Teddy Bear to our friends in New Zealand. He has been sending us regular photographs of what he has been up to from visiting a horse called 'Lucky' belonging to Gloria.
(click on all photographs to enlarge)
To a meeting with some Moscovy Ducklings, later in the week.
All of this activity has certainly made us in Class 3H a liitle bit envious of Tiny Ted, however this weekend Ted has had an absolutely brilliant time in and around his adoptive home of Nelson. Nelson is on the northern tip of the South Island. Ted has been to the Fisherman's Memorial in Nelson harbour.
The weather as you can see is beautiful, as New Zealand enters its summer.
Where else would you go on a lovely day, but to the beach, Tiny Ted took his tiny towel, picnic bag and sun umbrella with him for his visit to
Tahananui Beach, where as you can see he stopped to 'catch some rays' in the sunshine.
As is the custom at the seaside he had an ice cream, from his new friend Trevor on Rabbit Island.
It was delicious!!!
After a quick Ginger Beer ( apparently he asked for a ginger bear!!!)
It was time to set off back home.
In order to have a rest before the new school week where no doubt he is going to be visiting some of his new friends houses to meet their families - you can keep in touch with his adventures on his website ( the link is on the left hand side of the page)
Message from Ted - " I am having a lovely time - wish you were here!!"

School Hall Becomes and Art Gallery
Both the Infant and Junior Hall ( above) were transformed today into an Art Gallery by the gentleman from 'Images'. 3 weeks ago all classes submitted art using a variety of media to be mounted displayed and hopefully eventually sold ( at a reasonable £6 for a framed original piece of artwork).
It certainly brightened up the school as the display was both bright and colourful and attracted a good response from parents at the end of the school day.
Members of the Year 6 News Team were certainly excited by the display and you can expect a report to be written for our Making the News project within the next few days.

Looking further ahead - Friday 1st December !!! ( yes December already!!)
