Into the last week - only 4 days left!!!!
As the term draws to a close we have much to look back on, especially the Christmas Performances from last week. All were excellent and I believe that everyone who was able to attend at least one of the performances would agree that the children were superb. Many thanks to teachers and support staff who worked on costumes and rehearsals, and a BIG thank you to parents who helped their children in learning their lines and getting costumes together for the performances.
Thanks also to all of those who attended ( and yes I am aware that Year 6 will be performing on Monday evening at St Thomas's Church. As you may be aware we in school have a link to Premananda Orphanage School in India, and we have raised money to sponsor Kavitha
This is a copy of what Kavitha wrote to us as a thank you for all of the help we have given.
Below is the translation of Kavitha's words.
Your generosity at the Christmas Performances has so far raised an extra £509 towards Kavitha's continued education at the orphanage, I am sure that this amount will rise following the Year 6 Carol Concert on Monday evening.
Thank You all very much and a very Merry Christmas.
